For TQ3 heaters using a 2-wire thermostat:
If a MagIQtouch controller is not available, the ICS Motor Speed Assembly (Part #646701) must be replaced. This is because the speed sensor cannot be disabled manually or by disconnecting it—only a MagIQtouch controller can modify the ICS parameters to disable the sensor
- If attending a Non Condensing TQ series heater manufactured from the above serial number and date the speed sensor is no longer required
- If attending a Non Condensing TQ series heater pre serial 410836 that has had the speed sensor disabled then it is OK to leave it disabled. You can unplug the speed sensor from the ICS and remove it.
- If attending any Non Condensing TQ series heater that has a FC23 (Room fan not running) fault you should check that the room fan is actually running. If the room fan is running disable and remove the speed sensor from the heater.
- Select SETTINGS on the MagIQtouch
- Select SERVICE

- Enter access code 7378 when requested and push CONT
