⚠️Safety Notice – Wall Furnace Products
This appliance must only be installed, commissioned, serviced and repaired by suitably qualified and licensed personnel.
Before commencing work, complete a risk assessment and ensure gas and electrical safety, combustion air requirements, flue integrity, safe clearances and appropriate PPE have been considered. All work must comply with applicable regulations, standards and manufacturer requirements.
Particular care must be taken when working around gas systems, electrical components, combustion products, hot surfaces, flue systems and roof or ceiling spaces associated with the flue installation.
Do not proceed if safe access, flueing requirements, required clearances or appropriate safety controls cannot be maintained.
Safety takes priority over diagnosis, repairs and installation schedules. If the task cannot be completed safely, it must not proceed.

- Check signal strength with a multi meter set to DC voltage
- Start heater and when flame cross ignites and is present at the flame sense electrode, measure DC voltage across metal terminals FC- and FC+ on the EFS (Fenwal).
A reading of 1.5 to 2 Volt DC is considered good signal strength. Any values below 1 Volt DC need to be investigated and rectified.
