⚠️ Customer Safety Notice

This article contains general information intended for homeowners and occupants. Installation, servicing, repairs, electrical work, gas work and refrigerant-related work must only be carried out by appropriately qualified and licensed personnel.

Before performing any checks or maintenance, ensure the equipment is switched off and safe to access. Do not remove covers, enter roof or ceiling spaces, work at heights or attempt repairs unless you are qualified to do so.

If in doubt, contact an authorised service agent or licensed tradesperson. Safety must always take priority.

If your MagIQtouch RF wall controller loses pairing or fails to pair after replacing the batteries, it might be due to the controller entering diagnostic mode. This can happen if the HOME button is accidentally pressed while inserting new batteries.

Common Cause: When the controller is placed on a surface to remove the battery cover, the HOME button may be pressed accidentally without the user realizing it.

Solution:

  1. Remove the batteries from the controller.
  2. Re-insert the batteries without pressing the HOME button.

There is no need to re-pair the controller, as it remains paired with the appliance.

Future Improvements: Seeley is working on a solution to address this issue in future software updates.

If you require to re-pair for any reason below is the instructions to pairing the MagIQtouch RF (wireless) controller
