Breezair or Braemar MagIQtouch wall controller displaying Coolair brand
The best way to resolve would be:
- Obtain a MagIQtouch wall control from an existing operational Breezair or Braemar system, it will contain correct Breezair or Braemar brand and operating information that can be transferred to the customer’s cooler control box by following the below :
- On site reset the whole system with the existing wall control but do not proceed to the installation wizard
(pin or paper clip in the back of the wall controller reset button - passcode 7378)
- For the following steps, please be very careful with the option selected from the wall control to prevent the same issue from happening again
- Once reset completed replace customer’s wall control with the spare wall control that contains the Breezair or Braemar information
- When prompted on the screen, select cooler control box has been replaced, this will load the Breezair or Braemar information from the wall control to the cooler control box
- Then follow the normal installation wizard procedures
- At this stage the Breezair or Braemar information should be loaded to the customer’s cooler control box
- Then replace the spare wall control with customer’s wall control, this should behaves like a brand new wall control due to the full system reset procedure done at the beginning of process
- Now follow normal installation wizard which should bring things back to normal
Note: the original model and series numbers will no longer be available on the wall control but the brand will be correct and the model and serial number is still available inside the cooler on the rating sticker.
