Climate Wizard post-2020 manufactured control system using PLC interface
Climate Wizards (CWH) incorporate a chlorinator that are designed to minimize bacterial levels within the coolers water tank
- Chlorinator is active at all times the unit is operated in INDIRECT cooling mode, where the water level is above the bottom probe AND water conductivity is >1500µs/cm
- Where water conductivity is <1500µs/cm for an extended period of time, a 24 hour tank drain cycle will commence
Its important the chlorinator is fitted and operating correctly and should be checked at each quarterly service
DO NOT OPERATE THE CHLORINATOR OUT OF WATER
The yellow light on the PLC provides an early warning to a failed chlorinator
A failed chlorinator will display FC 10 on the PLC, the PLC red error LED and the wall controller if fitted

Note: The PLC can display multiple faults, if present as you will see in the video PLC fault display toggles between FC 10 and 3
You can check if chlorinator is fitted/connected from the PLC monitor screen
