Axial induction motor using CPMD fan running backwards - capacitor connections
When changing a CPMD on any Axial induction motor coolers it's important that the capacitor from existing CPMD is transferred over to the replacement CPMD and is wired correctly
Axial motors may run backwards if incorrect size capacitor is fitted
Axial motors will run backwards:
- If capacitor is faulty
- If capacitor is incorrectly wired - see images below for correct connections of capacitor into a CPMD
