MDHX – VRF Multi Split Inverter Ducted Indoor – Installation Manual (Legacy – MDHX018D1C02‑A)

⚠️ Safety Notice – Reverse Cycle Air Conditioners

This equipment must only be installed, commissioned, serviced and repaired by suitably qualified and licensed personnel.

Before commencing work, complete a task-specific risk assessment and ensure electrical isolation procedures, safe access, adequate service clearances and appropriate PPE have been considered. All work must comply with applicable regulations, standards and manufacturer requirements.

Particular care must be taken when working around electrical systems, refrigerant circuits, moving parts, roof spaces, ceiling spaces, confined spaces and working-at-heights hazards where applicable.

Do not proceed if safe access, required clearances, confined space risks or appropriate safety controls cannot be achieved and maintained.

Safety takes priority over diagnosis, repairs, installation schedules and customer expectations. If the task cannot be completed safely, it must not proceed until the risks have been adequately controlled.

Important – Legacy Installation Manual

This installation manual MDHX018D1C02‑A is retained for legacy MDHX ducted indoor units that were supplied under earlier model naming (including D1A, D1B and D1L variants).

This document has been superseded by “MDHX‑02‑C – MDHX Series Ducted Inverter Unit Installation Manual” for all current and supported MDHX VRF ducted indoor models (DBA / DBC / D1C series).

➤ For new installations, product training, and current support cases, refer to MDHX‑02‑C.

Use this document only for servicing or fault‑finding older MDHX ducted indoor units that are already installed.
If the unit was supplied or installed some years ago and does not appear in the current MDHX‑02‑C manual, this is the correct reference.
