CW80 Chlorinator trouble shooting for different versions
EXPLANATION ON HOW THE WARNING AND CRITICAL ERROR WORKS FOR THE CHLORINATOR
There is a Warning and Critical error for the Chlorinator. Displayed on the screen is the Warning error.
Warning Error – Triggered when Chlorinator has been enabled but the PLC has not received an OK from the Chlorinator for 80 IEC pump cycles. The cooler will continue to operate as normal.
Critical Error – Triggered when the Chlorinator has been enabled but the PLC has not received an OK from the Chlorinator for 3200 IEC pump cycles. The cooler will switch to VENT mode.
80 pump cycles is roughly 3hrs of continuous IEC only operation and 3200 cycles is 5 continuous days of IEC only operation.
Every IEC pump cycle the OK signal from the Chlorinator is checked. If the PLC does not receive the OK signal 1 is added to a counter. If the PLC does receive the OK signal 1 is subtracted from counter.
The Chlorinator will only run when unit is running in IEC only. If the Direct stage is engaged the Chlorinator will not run.
