MagIQtouch RF (Blue label) - Infinite loop between "Service reminder" screen and "Child lock" screen

Issue Description:

If you have an RF wall control with a blue label installed with an Evap Cooler and the child lock is activated, you might encounter an issue every year on March 1st and September 1st. When the ‘service reminder’ screen appears, pressing the ‘back’ button causes an infinite loop between the ‘service reminder’ and ‘child lock’ screens, preventing control of any appliances.

Field Fix:

Remove the Battery:
- Take out all the batteries from the RF wall control for at least 30 seconds and then put it back in.
Prepare to Reset:
- Get a pin ready to press the rear reset button on the wall control.
Power Up:
- Turn on the wall control using the side button (indicated in green below).
Trigger Service Mode:
- While the initial screen is displayed, press the rear reset button (small hole in back of controller) within 4 seconds to enter ‘service mode’.
Repeat if Necessary:
- If you miss the window and the loop continues, repeat steps 1 to 4.
Access Child Lock:
- In ‘service mode’, press number 7 to display the ‘child lock’ screen.
Disable Child Lock:
- Enter the customer’s child lock pin and press ‘CONT’ to return to ‘service mode’. If customer has forgotten the child lock pin, they used the Child lock override code is 5331
Reset System:
- In ‘service mode’, enter ‘7378’ (then press continue) to display the ‘System Reset’ screen.
- Select the first option to ‘reset the wall control only’.
Power Cycle RF Receiver:
- Turn off power to all appliances (cooler or heater or both) for 30 seconds, then turn them back on.
- Press the ‘Pair’ button.
Complete Installation:
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Check Child Lock:
- Ensure the ‘child access lock’ is set to OFF in the settings.
