Purpose of Installation

Install the LPQI Seal Cover Plate Kit in the following scenarios:

  • Seal lifting around the tabs is observed during inspection.
  • Water leakage is noticed at the front pad during operation.

These symptoms suggest that the water distributor seals may be improperly seated or deteriorated. The cover plates help ensure a secure and watertight seal.


Kit Contents

  • Cover Plates (P/N 837662) – 2 per cooler (included in the kit)

Note: Water Distributor Seals are not included in this kit. Each cooler requires two seals. If the existing seals show signs of deterioration, do not fit properly, or appear stretched, they should be replaced using the Rubber Replacement Kit (P/N 118620).





Installation Instructions

⚠️ Important: All service and maintenance work must be performed by trained and licensed personnel.


Step 1: Isolate Power & Water

Turn off the cooler’s power and water supply before starting any maintenance.


Step 2: Remove Pad Frames

Remove all four pad frames to access the LPQI lid and the water distributor seals.


Step 3: Inspect & Clean Seal Ends

  • Gently lift the end of each rubber seal using the tab.
  • Clean any debris from the water channel ends.
  • Do not remove the entire seal to preserve the factory seal.
  • Repeat for all four ends.


Step 4: Check Seal Fitment

  • Ensure the rubber seals are fully pressed into the grooves.
  • If the seal does not fit properly or appears stretched, use the Rubber Replacement Kit (P/N 118620).


Step 5: Fit Cover Plates

  • Place a cover plate (P/N 837662) over the seal ends at the front of the cooler.
  • Ensure it is securely locked between the two rubber tabs.
  • Repeat for the back of the cooler.


Step 6: Refit Pad Frames

Reinstall all four pad frames and ensure all clips are properly engaged.
