Purpose of Installation
The LPQI Rubber Seal Kit is designed to replace worn or damaged water distributor seals in LPQI evaporative coolers. These seals ensure a watertight fit along the water channel in the cooler lid, preventing leaks and maintaining optimal water distribution for efficient cooling performance.

- 2 x Rubber Seals for water distributor channels
(Replacement for part number 541417 - 2 required per cooler)

Before beginning any maintenance:
Isolate power and water supply to the cooler.
Ensure all work is performed by trained and licensed personnel.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Isolate Power & Water
Turn off the cooler’s power and water supply to ensure safety during maintenance.
Step 2: Remove Pad Frames
Detach all four pad frames to access the water distributor seals located on the LPQI lid.
Seal Part Number: 541417 (2 per cooler)
Step 3: Remove Old Rubber Seals
Lift the tabs at the ends of the old rubber seals and remove them.
Dispose of the old seals responsibly.
Step 4: Clean Channel & Prepare New Seals
Flush out any debris from the water channel and groove.
Lightly mist the underside of the new rubber seals with water to ease installation.
Step 5: Install Replacement Rubber Seals
Start at the middle of the channel and press the seal into the groove.
Work toward both ends, ensuring the seal sits flush.
Use a flat-head screwdriver to slide along the groove for a secure fit.
Step 6: Refit Pad Frames
Reattach all four pad frames and ensure all clips are properly engaged.
Step 7: Check Fitment of Rubber Seals
Restore power and water supply.
Run water through the channel to verify there are no leaks around the seals.
