XE71-42/G Wall Controller – Setting Date & Time

Before performing any checks or maintenance, ensure the equipment is switched off and safe to access. Do not remove covers, enter roof or ceiling spaces, work at heights or attempt repairs unless you are qualified to do so.


If in doubt, contact an authorised service agent or licensed tradesperson. Safety must always take priority.


Purpose

Configuring the correct time format, date, and time on the Braemar XE71-42/G wired wall controller (pages 28-29 of attached Owner's manual Pdf).

1. Access the Clock Menu

  1. Press MENU/OK to enter the main menu.
  2. Use the ◄ / ► buttons to scroll to the Clock icon.
  3. Press MENU/OK to enter the Clock Settings.

2. Set Time Format

  1. Use the ▲ / ▼ buttons to highlight Time Format.
  2. Use ◄ / ►to toggle between:
    • 12-hour format
    • 24-hour format
  3. Press MENU/OK to confirm.

3. Set Date & Time

  1. Use ◄ / ►to move between:
    • Hour
    • Minute
    • Year
    • Month
    • Day
  2. Use ▲ / ▼ to adjust each value.
  3. After setting all values, press MENU/OK to save.

✅ Notes

  • The controller will return to the main screen after saving.
  • Time and date will display on the header of the home screen.


  • Key Lock Feature (page 30 of attached Owner's manual Pdf):
  • The XE71 controller includes a Key Lock function that can restrict access to certain settings, including clock adjustments. If enabled, all buttons may become unresponsive when returning to the main screen.

To disable Key Lock:

Press MENU/OK to enter the main menu.

Navigate to the Lock icon using ◄ / ►.

Press MENU/OK to enter the Lock Settings.

Use ▲ / ▼ to select the item (e.g., Key Lock).

Use ◄ / ► to toggle to OFF.

Press MENU/OK to confirm.
