If your Braemar Reverse Cycle (R/C) system is not operating even though the controller is turned on, and you see the message “The value has reach limit of save!”, this indicates that the Save Function limits have been reached. This function restricts the temperature range for energy-saving purposes in both heating and cooling modes.

Symptoms:

  • Controller is ON, but system does not start.
  • Example: Room temperature 17°C; Set temperature 19°C.
  • Timer turned OFF; manual operation attempted.
  • Error message displayed: “The value has reach limit of save!”.

Cause:

The Save Function is active. It sets:

  • Lower limit for Cooling/Dry modes.
  • Upper limit for Heating mode.

If your set temperature is outside these limits, the system will not operate and will display this message.

Solution Steps:

1. Check Save Function Settings

  • Press Set on the home page.
  • Navigate to Menu → Function → Save.
  • Review the configured limits for Heating and Cooling modes.

2. Adjust or Disable Save Function

  • In the Save menu:
    • Use + / - buttons to adjust the upper limit for heating and lower limit for cooling.
    • Ensure the limits allow your desired set temperature (e.g., Heating at 19°C or Cooling at 24°C).
  • Press Confirm to save changes.

3. Reset the Controller (Optional)

  • Press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds to reset the screen.
  • Alternatively, navigate to Menu → Function → Reset Wi-Fi if network reset is needed (not usually required for this issue).

4. Retry Operation

  • Set the desired temperature within the new limits.
  • Ensure the system is in the correct mode (Heat or Cool) and the zone is ON.

Recommended Temperature Ranges:

  • Heating: 16°C – 20°C for energy efficiency.
  • Cooling: 24°C – 30°C for energy efficiency.
