Overview
Program mode allows you to automatically run your system using a set schedule, whether you are using:
- Ducted Gas Heating
- Evaporative Cooling
The controller uses:
- 7-day programming
- 4 fixed time periods per day
- Settings only operate when PROGRAM mode is active

- Cooling (evaporative):

How Program Mode Works
Each day is divided into four fixed time periods:
| Time Period | Typical Use |
|---|---|
| Wake | System runs before you get up |
| Away | System off when house is empty |
| Home | System runs before you return |
| Sleep | Reduced heating/cooling overnight |
Key Rules
- These time periods are fixed
- You cannot rename or add extra periods
- You can only adjust:
- Start time
- ON / OFF
- Set temperature (or cooling control)
How to Set Up Program Mode
Step 1 – Enter Program Mode
- Press PROGRAM
- Select EDIT
Step 2 – Select Day(s)
- Choose individual days or multiple days
- You can apply the same schedule across several days
Step 3 – Configure Each Time Period
For each period (Wake / Away / Home / Sleep):
- Select the time period
- Set the start time
- Choose:
- ON → system will run
- OFF → system will not run
- Set the required control:
- Temperature (heating or cooling in TEMP mode)
- Save
Repeat for all four periods
Step 4 – Save and Exit
- Confirm settings
- Exit to main screen
The schedule is now stored
How to Run the Program
For the program to operate:
- Controller must be set to PROGRAM mode
- System must be ON
✅ If either is not set, the program will not run
Heating vs Cooling – What Changes
| Function | Ducted Gas Heating | Evaporative Cooling |
|---|---|---|
| Temperature control | Thermostatic control only | Depends on cooling mode |
| ON/OFF scheduling | Per time period | Per time period |
| Fan speed control | Automatic | May vary depending on mode |
| Program structure | Same | Same |
Important
- The Program structure is identical for heating and cooling
- Only system operation differs once ON
Temporary Changes (Override)
- You can adjust temperature during a programmed period
- This is a temporary override only
- System returns to programmed settings at the next time period
Key Limitations (Avoid Customer Confusion)
- Only 4 time periods per day
- Cannot create custom time blocks
- Program runs only in PROGRAM mode
- Changing settings during operation does not permanently update the program
Common Issues
Program not running
- Not in PROGRAM mode
- System is OFF
System running at wrong times
- Check:
- Day selected
- Time period settings
- ON/OFF status
System turns off unexpectedly
- Current time period is set to OFF
Cooling or heating not operating as expected
- Check:
- Set temperature for that time period
- Current operating mode (heating or cooling behaviour differs)
✅ Summary
- 7-day programmable timer
- 4 fixed time periods (Wake / Away / Home / Sleep)
- Each period controls:
- Start time
- ON/OFF
- Temperature
- Works the same for heating and cooling
- Only runs when PROGRAM mode is active
